Chapter 9

How did you feel, as the reader, when Edward Owens said that his ancestor was the boy who informed Washington about the flanking troops when they were on the field trip? Why?

  1. As a reader, I felt kind of annoyed when Eddie said that his ancestor was the boy who informed General Washington of the enemy soldiers crossing upstream to attack General Washington and his army because it was really Geordie and Squire Cheyney who warned General Washington. So it annoyed me when Eddie was telling everyone it was his ancestor (Ned Owens), when it was really Geordie.

  2. i do agree with william too but i have something a little bit different.

I think as a reader that i also felt really annoyed because if he says it once doesnt mean he has to repeat it so many times. And he lied to every one that many times so it was an annoying LIE!!!!!!!!

  4. I feel very angry at Eddie because he lied and all he wants is popularity. He wants everyone to think that his ancestor was the one to warn Washington. Besides, he wasn't there and doesn't have any proof. Lars does. He has Geordie as proof. Also, i agree with many of you.
