Hello Friends,
I apologize for the late post! My question for this chapter is an interesting one. When Eddie Owens made a comment about Aunt Cass on the bus Pat H. smacked him in his face. Why do you think Lars did not do anything to Eddie? If you were Lars what would you say to Eddie after that comment? Why? If you choose to say nothing to Eddie tell me why.

I don't think Lars wanted to hurt or say anything to Eddie because he probably thought they would go back and forth arguing about Aunt Cass and he didn't know her very well anyway. I would have said,"please don't talk about my Aunt like that or I will tell your dad." I would have said that to make him stop talking about my family and Aunt because she hadn't done anything to him and neither have I.

ReplyDeleteLars didn't do anything because i think he all ready had a alot to think about atfer Anut Cass's death and he didn't want to get in any troble so he keeped his mouth shut. If I was Lars I would say "You know what Eddie DON'T SAY ANYTHING IF IT'S NOT NICE that how you make firends and I can think that why you don't have any so think about your self for once and GO AWAY!"
I think Lars didn't say anything because he didn't want to keep egging Eddie on. And yes I would say something like, "Hey dude, can't you ever say somthing nice. I mean we have had enough of hearing about your very famous ancestors,and it would be nice if you'd not say...."oh, oh,, I have to tell my dad" beccause if you say it one more time you will find yourself in the middle of the ocean with nothing except a can of cat food in a locked fire proof box, and you'd be in a GLASS box with that can of cat food floating 5 meters infront of you. Also I hope you fix what you wear beacause, that getup of yours is so like for four year olds..

ReplyDeleteI think Lars did not say anything to Eddie because he did not want to start a fight, besides, Lars already has anough things going on in his family. If I was Lars I would tell him,"be quite you bully, and if you ever talk about my Aunt again, their will be serios consequeenses..."
Sorry if mine was too long. I just finished my cardboard boat and I wanted to stay up a little more. And Ms. Howie I'll bring it in on wednesday after school( I'll tell you the time on Tuesday!)

ReplyDeleteI think the reason why Lars didnt say anything to eddie is because he was too sad to talk. I mean imagine if your grandma dies would you be happy or would you be down?And if i were lars i would say, you dont know my grandma and if you say one more thing about her i will force you to go on and airplane to china, and push you out of the airplane in the water no boats or anything. but i would pack you popped floaties,vinager(makes them thirsty),and give him bumbble bee tuna(hahaha form the comercial). p.s I know iwas being a little harsh so ill add twenty boxes filled with food and water and one more with a boat with oars.

I think the reason why Lars didn't do anything about Eddie's mean comment was because he already had enough problems at home with Aunt Cass' death and all, so I don't think he wants to be getting into trouble at school. Though if I were Lars, I probably would have said "keep all your rude comments to yourself Eddie and don't say them to other people". I would have said that to him because I don't think Eddie always needs to make rude comments about everything he doesn't like.

i think lars didn't say anything because he was shocked that he said that or that he just tried to ignore him.....i would because i woulden't want to get involved in drama.

ReplyDeletewould be that they have to watch Twillight for 35 hours strate. Then he would be stuck on an island full of man eating barby dolls for a month.Finally, having to listen to every barnie song till he memerises all the lyrics fowards and backwards,( unless he already has).

ReplyDeleteI think that Lars did not do anything to eddie because he was suprised that pat hit him. if i was lars i would get mad but not try to kill him. i would not say anything till he made fun of lars again. If i said something he might get in trouble.

ReplyDeleteI think Lars didn't start a fight because he didn't want too much commotion going on. If I was Lars, I wouldn't start a fight because I would get into trouble, make the bus driver go crazy, and remember these words, "Don't start the fight, end it.
